Skate Canada PEI Hosts Level I Phase I Coaching Course January 8-10. 1st Aid Policy Attached.

Skate Canada PEI will be holding a level 1 Phase 1 coaching course January 8-10th in Charlottetown.  Kim MacVey will be the course instructor. You will be required to be on the ice 1 hour on Day 1 (Friday), 1 hour of ice on Day 2 (Saturday) and 1 1/2 hours on Day 3. The rest will be class room work. The classroom sessions will be Friday and run into the evening and then all day Saturday, maybe a little bit Saturday night and then again Sunday.  There will be no first aid component offered with this course. You are responsible for making the arrangements to attend a first aid certification clinic. However, Skate Canada PEI could set up a first aid course if there is enough interest later in the year. There is a first aid course coming up soon and people are encouraged to take it. Joelle Perry has the info on it.

Please confirm if you plan on attending this course and please spread the work to anyone who you think might want to take it. Call 902-368-4985 or e-mail mconnolly@sport pei.pe.ca to register. Cheques payable to Skate Canada PEI.

Cost will be $375. Deadline for pre-registration is Thursday, December 31 at 5pm. Cost is $400 after the deadline.
