Attention CanSkaters in Levels 4 -6

Are you thinking that you would like to continue in the sport of Figure Skating after you finishCanSkate? Have you ever wondered what comes after CanSkate? Then we have something foryou! This is a chance for you to come out and skate with kids at your level and age in a formatthat is much more like Junior or Intermediate Figure Skating. Plus we'll give a short demo andpresentation on what the sport can be for you!

Skate Canada PEI is pleased to announce the
2010 FUNdamenals & Beyond seminar. This

camp will be held at the SouthShore Arena in Crapaud, on Monday, February 15tb 2010 from12 noon until 3:15 pm.

Both on ice and off-ice sessions will be held. The on ice session will

feature stroking, edges and turns.

Space is limited so apply early.

Requirements for Attendance at the Camp are
 Skaters who are currently in CanSkate Level 4, 5, or 6.

Skaters are expected to attend all sessions of the seminar.

Applications, with applicable fees, must be postmarked no later than February 5th, 2010. The fee for the clinic is $15.00. Food is not included and skaters are encouraged to bring healthy snacks. Appropriate clothing (gym clothing) and footwear (sneakers) for the off-ice session is required.

The tentative schedule is as follows (additional detail to be announced later):

11:15 am - 11:45 am Registration

12 noon -1:15 pm Group 1 on-ice/Group 2 off-ice (music interpretation.fun
& fitness)

1:15 pm -1:30 pm Flood - Groups switch

1:30 pm - 2:45 pm Group 2 on-ice/Group 1 off- ice (music interpretation.fun &

fitness)

2:45 pm - 3:15 pm Skating Demos/Wrap Up (all)
